Studio Bonnie is the creative partnership of Cathryn Royer and Laura Collins—two designers united by a passion for creating interiors and curating pieces that feel enduring, elegant, and deeply personal.

We believe great design tells a story. Our studio sources and creates furniture and décor that are rich with character, blending colour, craftsmanship, and timeless style. Every piece we bring into the studio is chosen with care, meant to be cherished now and for years to come.

Cathryn Royer — Cathryn Royer Design

Cathryn is known for interiors that balance refinement with livability. Her work blends elegance, boldness, and a sense of ease, resulting in spaces that feel both polished and deeply comfortable.

Her confident approach has been recognized in projects ranging from serene, neutral-toned homes to daring, colour-forward spaces—including a Vancouver apartment, feature in Domino, enveloped entirely in shades of pink. Cathryn holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from the Art Institute of Vancouver and has built a reputation for designs that feel intentional, elevated, and unmistakably personal.

Laura Collins — For Porter Design

Laura brings a love for layered storytelling into her work. She is celebrated for her ability to seamlessly combine antiques with modern finds, creating interiors that are expressive, playful, and enduring.

Her projects have been featured in Domino, Rue Magazine, House & Home, Style at Home, and the Globe & Mail. Laura’s own mid-century bungalow in Calgary embodies her approach: colourful, character-rich, and grounded in timeless style. With more than a decade of experience, she has honed a design voice that is equal parts curated and unexpected.
